Baby's first bolognese

Baby led weaning bolognese suitable from 6 months old and favorite toddler meal. Easy to make and full of hidden veggies.

Ingredients

Serves 6

  • 800g beef mince
  • 1 tablespoon powdered beef stock
  • 1 onion
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 zucchinis
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons pizza tomato paste

Instructions

Step 1

Grate zucchini and carrots. Dice onion.

Step 2

Fry onion in a bit of oil in a big frying pan.

Step 3

Add beef mince.

Step 4

Break up mince with spatula and continue to brown. Sprinkle with the beef stock.

Step 5

When brown, add the zucchini, carrots, tomatoes and tomato paste. Stir to combine.

Step 6

Cook for 10 more minutes to combine the flavors.

Step 7

Meanwhile cook your side dish - pasta, zucchini noodles, rice, mash or whatever you fancy.
