Baby's Favorite Soup

This is a simple soup thats packed full of veggies and fast to cook. My baby girl loved this soup a lot so much so that I named it after her. Serve it with bread and cheese if you like. Suitable for babies from 6 months old.

Ingredients

Serves 6

  • 1 onion
  • 3 carrots
  • 2 celery sticks
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 3 potatoes
  • 2 cans of butter beans, drained
  • 1 can of crushed tomatoes
  • 2 blocks chicken stock
  • 2 packets chicken soup powder
  • 1.5 liter water boiled or enough to cover the veggies

Instructions

Step 1

Dice the veggies and cook for a few minutes in oil in a big pot until browned.

Step 2

Dissolve the chicken stock and powder in a little bit of water.

Step 3

Add the rest of the ingredients.

Step 4

Simmer on medium until soft, about an hour or so.

Step 5

When the veggies are soft, add spoonfuls to a blender and process until smooth, leaving some of it whole if you prefer.
