4 December - 2-Ingredient Recipes
Hi there. It's Sumari from EasyHealthyKids.com, and this week we kept it simple with "2-ingredient" recipes and simple activities for toddlers.
The family: Fred is a headstrong 3 year old toddler boy, and Sarah is my sweet 11 month old baby girl.
Fred's favorite food of the week
I got a waffle machine for Christmas (a bit early I know). I found this great recipe for a cheese waffle, and Fred loved it.
It's very simple to make and uses only 2 ingredients - cheese and eggs - but it doesn't taste overly cheesey or eggy. You can double or triple the recipe for more servings.
Sarah's favorite food of the week
We have some leftover baby cereal, because Sarah stopped eating it a while ago. So I made these frozen yogurt cereal bites for her and she loved it. She can pick it up with her hands and it only contains 2 ingredients.
Fred's activity of the week
Fred loved this easy car wash station. He had 2 buckets, one with soapy water and one with clean water, and a dish towel.
He washed his cars in the soapy water, then rinsed them in the clean water and then dried them with the towel.
Next time I'll make the rainbow soap foam for him to wash his cars with.
Sarah's activity of the week
Another great use for leftover baby cereal is this edible baby playdough.
Up until now I've only made playdough for Fred, but it will be great to give Sarah to play with while I cook lunch.
