Easy, Healthy Baby & Toddler Meals, Snacks and Activities

3 October - Out And About...

Hi there. It's Sumari from EasyHealthyKids.com, and this week is the first week of the school holidays, so we've been out and about. Because of this, we needed food that's quick and easy to prepare and loved by both baby and toddler.

The family: Fred is a headstrong 2 year, 11 month old toddler boy, and Sarah is my sweet 10 month old baby girl.

Fred and Sarah enjoyed this week's 15 minute meals. And I enjoyed that they were so easy to make. The activities of this week were also quick and easy to make and do.

Fred's favorite food of the week

These Turkey Spinach Pinwheel Wraps are very quick and easy to make, and suits both a baby and a toddler. They go nicely with baby carrots (not for baby!), cucumber and grapes (cut in quarters for baby and toddler). I used canned chicken for these wraps instead of the turkey in the recipe, but you can use either.

Sarah's favorite food of the week

Sarah enjoyed this Spicy Udon Veggie Stirfry, but I didn't use the spicy sauce in the recipe.

I added sweet chilli sauce seperately to the adult portions. These noodles are soft and easy for a baby to eat. You can also cut the noodles to make it easier to eat. And you can add cooked chicken or other meat if you want.

Fred's activity of the week

Fred enjoyed building this Build-A-Dog printable. I printed the dog out, laminated it and cut out the pieces. After he played with it once, I put in his quiet-time bin for later play.

Sarah's activity of the week

Sarah loves practicing to walk with her dad, holding his hands. I'm also going to try other activities and games that helps her to walk.

Do you have any great recipes or fun activities that you want to share? Let me know by replying to this email.
