Easy, Healthy Baby & Toddler Meals, Snacks and Activities

19 December - Merry Christmas

Hi there. It's Sumari from EasyHealthyKids.com, and this week...Merry Christmas! This newsletter is packed with yummy Christmas food, crafts, activities and even traditions. Here's what the kids and I will enjoy this holiday. What about you?

The family: Fred is a headstrong 3 year old toddler boy, and Sarah is my sweet 11 month old baby girl.

Gingerbread cookie bites (clean eating)

These Gingerbread cookie bites are perfect for a gift, or for a healthy Christmas snack. They are made of all natural ingredients, and fall under the clean eating category, so you know they are healthy and yummy.

Christmas crafts for kids

Here's a great collection of Christmas crafts and activities for kids 2 to 3 years old. Fred is obsessed with Christmas trees and all things Christmas, so I'm going to do a few of these crafts with him.

The q-tip painting and wreath making activities look awesome.

Christmas traditions to start

This is the first year that Fred is really into Christmas, so I thought now is the time to start Christmas traditions.

I was a bit late with a tree this year, but I'm going to buy him a Christmas DVD and Gingerbread house.

Here are 11 more great traditions for Christmas.

Christmas side salad

This broccoli salad is a great side to take for Christmas eve with a BBQ-ed ham (or other main).

The salad includes cheese and bacon, so even my kids will love it.

Sugarfree almond milk eggnog

If you want a healthier eggnog, or a dairy free one, this is a great recipe.

You can use any milk that you prefer.

Reindeer pancakes

These reindeer pancakes are so cute and yummy with cream and raspberry.

If you can make round pancakes, then you can make these easily.

They are great for Christmas morning breakfast or snack.

Healthy sugarfree Christmas dessert

If you want to skip the sugar-high-and-low from traditional Christmas desserts, these low carb Christmas favorites are a good idea.

There are so many yummy recipes to try in this post it's difficult to choose just one.

DIY felt christmas tree

My favorite part of having a Christmas tree is getting to decorate it.

A felt wall mounted Christmas tree is great for letting the kids decorate and redecorate it again and again. Here's how to make a felt tree yourself.
