13 Feb - Immune Boosting Popsicles...

Hi there. It's Sumari from EasyHealthyKids.com, and in this week's newsletter we have superfood recipes and fun activities to do with your kids. There are spinach muffins, immune boosting popsicles and even a special exercise video just for you.

The family: Fred is a headstrong 3 year old toddler boy, and Sarah is my sweet 1 year old baby girl.

Sarah's food of the week

Sarah only has 2.5 teeth so she can't eat leafy greens like spinach. These Kid Approved Spinach Muffins are great for getting spinach into kids. The recipe also contains two fruit, so extra healthy!

Sarah's activity of the week

Sarah loves music and singing so these sweet modern lullabies that don't suck are perfect for her. Its a list of modern lullabies and songs to sing or play to a baby or toddler. "Never grow up" is my favorite.

Fred's food of the week

Almost every day after kindergarten Fred wants to buy ice cream at the corner shop. These sore throat popsicles are great to make ahead and keep on hand for such days. The original recipe is actually for sick toddlers and kids, but it's a great immune boosting yummy recipe for every day.

Fred's activity of the week

Fred loves to practice his writing and these Simple Sprinkle Sensory Bags are so fun to play with. You use sprinkles in a zip lock bag to make a writing canvas for your kids to play with. Just supervise them when playing with the bag.

Mom's video of the week

I've started to wake up earlier to get more "me time" while the kids sleep. This video is great for a quick wake up call that's gentle and sure to wake up your whole body: 10 minute morning yoga sequence.
